INFORMATION

Makassar ebony is a streaky dark brown or black and almost always wide-striped. It is highly sought-after for building tokobashira, a distinctive feature of traditional Japanese homes. Considered to be a exceptionally lovely wood, native to Sulawesi, only small volumes can be sourced as the tree takes an age to grow.

DESIGN

A precious collection of exclusive lathe-turned "T2" lids inspired by ancient cubic capitels with a registered design.

All lids are numbered one by one and are handcrafted by Italian artisans. The product comes in an elegant gift box.

USEFUL TIPS

The material used, being completely natural, can present differences in shades and color that make the product even more unique.

Due to the porous nature of marble, if it comes into contact with the essence it is advised to immediately clean it with a cloth.
